Storms

I'm embarrassed to say it took me awhile to realize how bad the storms were that caused all the destruction earlier this week.  It didn't hit until I not only started hearing the death count, but heard from people I know just how close it came to them.  While there are several people affected by the storms, I want to ask for prayers for a friend of mine at work.  She knows that three of her cousins are among the dead.  Her nephew was at school when the storms hit, and as of Thursday (I didn't get to talk to her yesterday) they couldn't reach him or her Grandmother.  To make matters worse for her, she's in the middle of heading up a major effort at our work to get us through April Month End (tonight) and has been dealing with way too much stress there.  Please pray for her and her family.  Her name is Rhonda.

Our Inspiration

Our first request and our inspiration  is for Jake's Mom, Cissi.  This is her third run with cancer. It's in her sternum and they are going to try radiation first before chemo.

This blog will be our class space to store prayer requests and praises.  Once a day, at noon for now, lets stop what we're doing and take a moment to pray together, both for these requests listed, and for God's will for our class.

When you have a prayer request or praise to add, just create a post, and put the subject in the Labels portion at the bottom.  Then the request or praise will show up in a cloud of keywords at the top for quick reference.

Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move.  Nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20
